It's true that beef tallow does contain nutrients that may be beneficial to the skin—a few of the most important below: 

  • Fatty acids: Beef tallow is rich in omega-3 fatty acids that can be helpful to soften the skin, strengthen the skin barrier, and serve as an anti-inflammatory.

  • Linoleic acid: Specifically, beef tallow contains linoleic acid.

  • Vitamins: Beef tallow contains omega-3 fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K.

  • Gentle emollients: It's fair to say that beef fat is generally going to be soothing and non-irritating. After all, it doesn't contain many of the common skin irritants like fragrance or potent exfoliants. However, some people may still not tolerate it well, so always patch test before you slather on.

NOTE: If you order unscented, just know that beef tallow has a certain scent to it no matter how many times it has been rendered and filtered, a slight scent may remain. We do our best to render enough times to filter out 95% of it with a wet render method.

  • Ingredients: 100% Pasture Raised Grass Fed & Finished Beef Tallow, organic Essential Oils


    Directions: It takes very little product for coverage. Use sparingly as needed. Great for after a shower or before bed, giving tallow time to completely absorb into the skin.

  • Your tallow may arrive to you in a melted or soft state. If your whipped tallow arrives this way, please set it upright in the refrigerator until it solidifies. The quality of the product will remain intact even if the consistency that it arrived in was different than expected! Refunds will not be issued based on consistency upon arrival.
